NEW YORK, NY – June 8, 2026, 11:37am EDT: Happy birthday, Johnny Blue Skies. At this very moment, he and his band, the Dark Clouds, have dropped an expanded edition of their new album, Mutiny After Midnight, on all streaming platforms. Following its physical-only release on Friday, March 13th – which made an historic debut at #3 on the Billboard 200, #1 on Top Album Sales, Top Rock & Alternative Albums, Vinyl Albums and Indie Store Album Sales, and was called "an instant contender for album of the year" (GQ) – the chaos and fun continue.

Available on all digital platforms, Mutiny After Midnight now features the record's nine original songs alongside Johnny Blue Skies & the Dark Clouds' renditions of Eddie Murphy's "Party All The Time," previously released as part of an iTunes-exclusive digital download, and both William Bell's "You Don't Miss Your Water" and Procol Harum's "A Whiter Shade of Pale," which were previewed on a 7" picture disc pressed for Record Store Day this spring.
Fans will be able to experience the album live for the first time on Johnny Blue Skies & the Dark Clouds' upcoming tour, Mutiny For The Masses. Spanning 29 dates across North America, Mutiny For The Masses includes stops at LA's Kia Forum, Chicago's United Center, Nashville's Bridgestone Arena, NYC's Barclays Center and more this summer and fall, kicking off on September 4th at Austin's Moody Center, and culminating at Lexington, Kentucky's Rupp Arena on Halloween weekend, October 30th. No opening acts, just the band rocking as hard and relentlessly as possible for every minute possible.

"We made this record with a sense of immediacy and in the moment expression with the pure intention of simply having fun and making people forget about anything else, even if for only 44 minutes," wrote Johnny Blues Skies, at the time of Mutiny After Midnight’s physical release. "Find a place to crank it with some friends or even strangers…you might even get laid."
