Today, Hether returns with the first single from his debut album, introducing listeners to the vivid palette of sound that has secretly been defining a moment in music. Out now on the label R&R (Dijon, Mk.gee), "Falling For The Feeling" was written, produced, mixed and engineered by Hether, aka Paul Castelluzzo, who channels his love for overlooked 1960s jazz legends into a style that is shaping the present and predicting the future. Arriving two years after his last solo release, "Falling For The Feeling" brings Hether into full-colored focus, and sits deep in the pocket of the world Castelluzzo has created. The arrangement of drums, bass, strings and subtle intricacies is enveloping, as the emotion is all-encompassing, highlighting the self-taught, deceptively gentle and profoundly gifted guitar work and songwriting that has led to collaborations with everyone from Clairo, Dominic Fike, Remi Wolf and The Marías to Paul McCartney, Anderson .Paak, Benny Blanco, Kali Uchis, Kenny Beats, Mac Miller, Rick Ross, Vince Staples and dozens of others.

Due this fall, Hether's debut album ushers in the crowning work of Paul Castelluzzo's career to date, as personal and layered as the path he took to get here. As a teenager on the beaches of San Diego, he found himself playing bars with local jazz greats like Curtis Taylor, before Rodney Jerkins brought him to Los Angeles to perform on tracks for Britney Spears and Justin Bieber. While driving for Lyft and serving as the music director for a Russian Pentecostal church to make ends meet, Castelluzzo was enlisted for Romeo Santos' album, Golden, but then returned home to soon begin his next chapter as Hether.

This record marks both the culmination of everything he has experienced and accomplished since then, and an expansive new evolution of the project. Still based in San Diego, when Castelluzzo isn't in the studio writing and recording, he's surfing, and when he isn't surfing he's on stage, with upcoming performances including Lollapaloozaand Osheaga as part of Dominic Fike's band.
