The presidential candidates will hold three debates this fall, but will memorized talking points and personal attacks truly help voters make informed decisions about the complex issues facing the country? To inform and enlighten Americans into the ballot box and beyond, Intelligence Squared U.S. is presenting a fall season of election-themed debates. As America's premiere nonpartisan debate series, IQ2US will tackle issues tied to this election in this special season. Topics include climate change, big pharma, undocumented immigrants, Obama's foreign policy, gerrymandering, and who is to blame for Donald Trump.
Recorded before live audiences in New York and Washington DC, the debates will be streamed live online, then air on public radio, the IQ2US podcast, and, in a new addition, on-demand apps on AppleTV and Roku. Founded in 2006, IQ2US is one of the top 25 most popular podcasts in iTunes and this summer earned nationwide attention with their ongoing petition to "Fix America's Presidential Debates", which has garnered almost 60,000 signatures to date.
