Today, on the heels of his 5th GRAMMY win, Jacob Collier announces the first set of 67 dates on his forthcoming DJESSE WORLD TOUR. The run of shows will reach North America in the spring of 2022, marking Collier's biggest US performances to date: Brooklyn Steel and Terminal 5 in New York City, two nights at The Wiltern in Los Angeles, and dozens more you can find below. Tickets go on sale HERE at 10AM local time this Friday, March 26th.
Just days ago, Collier took home his fifth GRAMMY Award for Best Arrangement ("He Won't Hold You" feat. Rapsody, from his album Djesse Vol. 3), making history as the first British artist to win a GRAMMY Award for each of his first four albums (In My Room, Djesse Vol. 1, Vol. 2 and Vol. 3). Collier entered the GRAMMYs with nominations for Album Of The Year and Best R&B Performance, he presented an award on the telecast, and is a 7-time nominee overall. On the announcement of his DJESSE WORLD TOUR, Collier says:
"This is just the beginning...I'll be announcing a myriad more shows in many other parts of the world in due course, including Asia, South America, Australia, NZ, Africa, India, and more. I have honestly never been more excited for anything in my entire life. I cannot wait for this blazing light at the end of the tunnel."
Collier also made headlines in September when he announced his global tour through reservations ticketing technology platform Lyte, which offered fans the chance to gain first access to concert tickets once venues and dates were officially revealed. Over 60,000 fans signed up, read more at Billboard and Rolling Stone.
For those who reserved their tickets already, a special presale will run from 10AM local time this Wednesday, March 24th, through 10PM local time on Thursday, March 25th.
In recent months, Jacob Collier has performed on The Tonight Show, The Late Late Show and CBS This Morning: Saturday. He also co-wrote and sings on one of the biggest songs of the year so far, SZA's "Good Days." Earlier this month he was featured in the New York Times Magazine's "19 Songs That Matter Right Now" Music Issue, The Wall Street Journal, Vulture, Billboard and Esquire.
