Jake Shimabukuro Wows NYC On "Stunning" (NY Post) Solo Ukulele

Jake Shimabukuro recently visited New York City to preview his forthcoming album ‘Peace Love Ukulele' (Hitchhike Records, January 4th, 2011) and impressed the locals with his virtuoso solo ukulele performances. The New York Post praised his "exceptionally expressive tone" and said of his Highline Ballroom show: “Stunning to watch… he was able to command total silence as he played.”

Jake also performed '"Bring Your Adz," "143" and "Go For Broke" from 'Peace Love Ukulele' on WNYC's 'Soundcheck,' where they called him "the Jimi Hendrix of the ukulele" and praised him for 'redefining the possibilities of the instrument."
