Jake Shimabukuro believes that if more people played the ukulele, the world would be a happier place. That's the message of his new album 'Peace Love Ukulele' (out January 4th from Hitchhike Records). Jake's newly redesigned website at http://JakeShimabukuro.com makes it easier to hear his " bold, moving" (New Yorker) ukulele live, with an easy-to-follow tour schedule. The new site will connect ukulele lovers with each other on Facebook, Twitter, MySpace and other social networks.
Fans can buy 'Peace Love Ukulele' now exclusively at the newly improved store at JakeShimabukuro.com/store during a special online-only pre-sale. An exclusive deluxe fan package includes a CD, T-shirt, water bottle, pin set (8 pins), poster and two stickers for $45; the same package will be $52 after January 4th. The 'Peace Love Ukulele' CD is just $12 if ordered before that date, and a digital download of the album is available for $10.
"I'm happy to have a bigger, better website for my fans," Shimabukuro says. "The more peace, love and ukulele we can bring them, the better."
