Jamie MacDonald Earns First Riaa Gold Certifications For Hit Songs “Left It In The River” And “Desperate”

Following the release of ‘Jamie MacDonald (The Deluxe Album)’ (10.16) and her recent GMA Dove Award New Artist of the Year win, Capitol CMG recording artist Jamie MacDonald celebrates her first two RIAA Gold certifications for her No. 1 hit songs “Left It In The River” and “Desperate.”

The namesake of MacDonald’s headlining tour, “Left It In The River” spent 12 weeks at No. 1 at Christian radio and won Song of the Year at the 2026 K-LOVE Fan Awards, with clips of the song generating more than 100 million social views. Meanwhile, her debut single “Desperate” set a record for the most stations spinning a song on its impact date in Christian radio history, spending eight weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Christian AC and Mediabase Christian AC charts. The song also received a nomination for Pop/Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year at the 2025 GMA Dove Awards and was later reimagined in collaboration with GRAMMY Award-winning artist Lauren Daigle. Both Gold-certified hits appear on MacDonald’s self-titled debut album (1.23) and newly released deluxe album (10.16), which features a new collaboration with GRAMMY Award winner Tori Kelly on “A Million Chances (with Tori Kelly),” alongside five reimagined versions of “Left It In The River.”
