On Saturday, July 8th the Kupferberg Center for the Arts at Queens College will welcome the Louis Armstrong's Wonderful World music festival at Queens' Flushing Meadows Corona Park.
Renowned bandleader Jon Batiste is confirmed to headline and curate this year's line-up.
The fourth annual celebration is a rich curation of music, art, and food honoring the life and legacy of Louis Armstrong will include live performances, family-friendly activities, the borough's famous foods & more. Louis Armstrong has deep ties to Queens, as he lived at 34-55 107th St. in Corona from 1943 until his death in 1971. The house is a National Historic Landmark and is now the site of the Louis Armstrong House Museum.
