Josh Kear's 14th No. 1 is "Woman, Amen"

Josh Kear has landed the 14th No. 1 of his career with "Woman, Amen." Co-written with Dierks Bentley and Ross Copperman, "Woman, Amen" was released in January and hits No. 1 right on top of the release of Bentley's new album 'The Mountain.'

Kear, a Big Yellow Dog Music writer since 2003, has scored three number ones in just the last 12 months: "Woman, Amen," "Most People Are Good" (written by Kear, David Frasier, Ed Hill. Performed by Luke Bryan) and "God, Your Mama, And Me" (written by Kear, Hillary Lindsey and Gordie Sampson. Performed by Florida Georgia Line + Backstreet Boys).

"Seeing life through the eyes of Josh Kear is a wonderful thing! He's a master songwriter who is a believer in good people and love. 'Woman, Amen' couldn't have happened at a more important time for women to be lifted up!" said Big Yellow Dog Music co-founder Carla Wallace.

In the 15 years Josh Kear has been a Big Yellow Dog Music writer, he has won the Country Song GRAMMY three times (the only songwriter to ever do so) and won the overall Song of the Year GRAMMY in 2011 for Lady Antebellum's "Need You Now." His previous chart-topping country hits include Luke Bryan's "Drunk On You," Tim McGraw's "Highway Don't Care," Blake Shelton's "Neon Light," and Carrie Underwood's "Before He Cheats."
