June 12, 2026 – Judy Collins will say thank you and farewell to her fans on one final tour of over 50 dates spanning from July through spring of 2027. Collins’ “Sweet Judy Blue Eyes” Farewell Tour was detailed today by the beloved icon of folk music. The tour will visit a host of legendary venues, including Tanglewood, a longtime host to Collins, and artists including Roseanne Cash, Mary Chapin Carpenter and Amanda Shires will join her on select dates along the way. At 87, Collins has remained prolific on stage and in the studio, touring the globe and releasing a number of celebrated solo and duets albums over the past few years alone.

Collins will also perform in a Fourth of July concert that will be broadcast live on PBS, and PBS.org and the PBS app. AMERICA MADE IN VIRGINIA: 250 YEARS TOGETHER will air on July 4 at 8PM ET, filmed live from historic Colonial Williamsburg in Virginia. The Semiquincentennial celebration features Collins along with decorated artists including Tony winner Michael Feinstein, three-time GRAMMY winner Ryan Speedo Green, Tony winner Kelli O’Hara, Tony winner Adrienne Warren and a special greeting from documentary filmmaker Ken Burns.

Says Collins: “Touring has been the great thread of my life—city to city, song to song, face to face. The audiences have carried me for decades, and I’ve never stopped being moved by what can happen in a room when we truly listen to one another. This tour is my way of saying thank you—out loud, together.”

Collins returns to Tanglewood in Lenox, Massachusetts on August 30 for a special afternoon that connects her storied past with one of America’s most beloved stages to a singular moment in her farewell season. The line-up includes Amanda Shires, Rosanne Cash, and Mary Chapin Carpenter. Collins’ relationship with Tanglewood runs deep, and her upcoming appearance is both a homecoming and a celebration of the timeless songs and artistry that have defined her legacy.

Amanda Shires will join Collins at Humphreys Concerts By the Bay in San Diego on August 6, and Collins will perform at The Ford in Los Angeles on August 7 with Bruce Cockburn. Other highlights include Chicago’s Old Town School of Folk Music October 23, The Caverns in Tennessee March 6, 2027, and a triumphant homecoming concert in NYC at the Town Hall on March 20.

Collins is an award-winning folk singer-songwriter who has released 55 recordings during her prolific six-decade career. 2023’s Spellbound, which earned the GRAMMY-winner her seventh nomination, was her first album of all original, self-penned songs. In 2017, she partnered with her longtime friend and co-conspirator Stephen Stills to record their first full-length album together. Everybody Knows celebrated decades of friendship and one of the most famous relationships in rock & roll, which inspired Stills to compose “Suite: Judy Blue Eyes.”

Collins made her recording debut in 1961 with A Maid of Constant Sorrow, and in addition to her original songs, she has been widely celebrated for her interpretations, in particular of songs by Joni Mitchell, Leonard Cohen and Stephen Sondheim. Her stunning rendition of Mitchell's “Both Sides Now” from her landmark 1967 album, Wildflowers, is in the Grammy Hall of Fame, and her recording of Sondheim’s “Send in the Clowns” won "Song of the Year” at the 1975 Grammy Awards. She has several top-ten hits, gold- and platinum-selling albums to her name. Collins is a published author, filmmaker, keynote speaker for mental health and podcast host, and she remains a social activist, representing UNICEF and numerous other causes. Recent features and profiles include the New York Times, New York Magazine, NPR, People Magazine, Entertainment Weekly, World Café and WNYC to name a few.
