Karl Michael Pays Tribute To The “Highs And The Lows” of Life - Out Today

Serves as First Solo Release Off Forthcoming EP

Riser House Records’ Karl Michael is living through the “Highs And The Lows” of life and appreciating those who support him along the way in his brand-new track, out today (9.25).

Written by Michael alongside Dallas Wilson, “Highs And The Lows” is an emotional tribute to the loved ones who stick by his side every day, through the many ups and downs that life has to offer - all while spotlighting Michael's impressive chops and standout vocal range. The video for the tune, which was directed by Quinton Cook, finds Michael belting the heartfelt anthem in one, continuous take.

"This is the first song I wrote with my best friend and collaborator, Dallas Willson, and it changed my life! This song means so much to me. The meaning behind "Highs and The Lows" is that when everything becomes too much, you will always have your family no matter what. Family doesn't have to be blood. It is the ones that truly love you for you and will be there for you through thick and thin -- through the "Highs and the Lows"

“Highs And The Lows” is the first solo release off Michael’s forthcoming EP, ‘Human’, which is slated to release later this fall. The track follows in the footsteps of the first sneak peek into the EP - Michael’s summertime, heartbreak jam with Teddy Swims, “Liar,” which the two performed in front of tens of thousands of fans during multiple stops on Zac Brown Band’s 'Comeback Tour’ last month.

As a songwriter, Michael has penned multiple hits, racking up more than 100 MILLION Spotify streams collectively from songs like The Vamps’ “Can We Dance” (which he wrote with Bruno Mars), Dappy’s “Beautiful Me” and more - and with his forthcoming EP, fans are finally getting to hear Michael’s own signature sound. More details on 'Human' will be coming soon.
