Michael to Join Swims on Select Dates During Zac Brown Band’s 'Comeback Tour'
Riser House Records’ Karl Michael and Warner Record’s powerhouse Teddy Swims are flipping the switch on falsehoods, calling for an ounce of honesty in “Liar,” out today (7/30).
Showcasing the standout vocal prowess that placed each of the genre-bending artists on the map, “Liar” serves as the summertime heartbreak anthem everyone can relate to, with Michael and Swims begging for the true story to be told of a love gone wrong.
Directed by Val Vega, the video for the simmering tune finds the two in an emotional storm while real-life waves of uncertainty crash around them. Michael and Swims took to YouTube late Thursday evening (7.29) to chat with fans and premiere the thunderous visual at midnight.
As a songwriter, Michael has penned multiple hits, racking up more than 100 MILLION Spotify streams collectively from songs like The Vamps’ “Can We Dance” (which he wrote with Bruno Mars), Dappy’s “Beautiful Me” and more - but he’s just getting started. Now, having honed-in on his sound over the years, Michael is gearing up to release his EP ‘Human’ this fall, and “Liar” is just the first taste of what to expect from the project.
In celebration of the standout collaboration, several lucky fans will get to hear it live, as Michael is set to join Swims to perform “Liar” on select dates throughout Zac Brown Band’s 'Comeback Tour,' which kicks off next Thursday (8/5).
