With the release of new single "Terlingua Girl," Lillie Mae reveals a second, stunning and spine-tingling glimpse into sophomore album Other Girls, out August 16th on Third Man Records. Set in a wild West-Texan ghost town and written during her days as a nomadic 19-year-old, the song recounts another self-awakening behind an LP of reclaimed strength, produced by Dave Cobb in Nashville's RCA Studio A.

And read Lillie Mae's breakdown of the track's mythical inspirations in an Origins feature at Consequence of Sound, from stray dogs and fellow female drifters to spiritual encounters and the Starlight Theatre.
"Terlingua Girl" follows "You've Got Other Girls for That," which Rolling Stone just named one of the Best Country & Americana Songs to Hear Now, "mixing the sweeping sounds of 1960s psych-pop with the cool detachment of a 21st century indie kid."
