Lindi Ortega Readies for Headline Tour + Concept Record in 2018

"country's crystalline-voiced goth-rock version of Dolly Parton" (MAGNET) set for dates in NYC, LA, DC, Nashville and more

Lindi Ortega Readies for Headline Tour + Concept Record in 2018

Lindi Ortega has “the pipes of Patsy Cline with the visual flair of Amy Winehouse” (The Washington Post), and she’s planning to kick off 2018 by returning to the states with a headline tour slated for stops in Los Angeles, New York City, Washington D.C., Nashville and more. With more than 30 dates on the books — and additional dates on the horizon — the shows will feature a feisty, rockabilly mix “drenched in passion, heartache and country swagger” (Huffington Post).

Additionally, fans can expect to hear new music from Ortega’s forthcoming concept LP, which was recently recorded at Battle Tapes studio in East Nashville.

Ortega is “genre-defying in both her music and her personal style” (NPR’s All Things Considered, 2015), and in 2017, she opened select dates for Chris Stapleton and Dwight Yoakam. The year also marked a milestone in Ortega's personal life when she married Canadian musician Daniel Huscroft and relocated from Nashville to Calgary.

Details on the record will be announced in the coming weeks. In the meantime, more information on shows and tickets can be found at lindiortega.com.
