Logan Mize Receives Standing Ovation At Grand Ole Opry Debut

Country music’s heartland troubadour Logan Mize reached a career milestone last Friday (4.29), when he made his Grand Ole Opry debut. Mize paid tribute to his home state of Kansas with a performance of his self-penned track “It’s About Time,” from his recently released ‘Welcome to Prairieville’ album (10.1). Mize’s children Lincoln and Violet, who surprised him with the Opry debut invitation in 2021, came on stage to hand deliver Mize’s guitar and pick before he closed the show with his RIAA certified GOLD single “Better Off Gone.” Mize left the stage with a standing ovation from the crowd.

“It was an extremely surreal experience being on that stage and in that circle for the first time," says Mize. "All the tough breaks and frustrations I had over the years just melted away, and I felt like I belonged up there.”

Mize’s recently released concept album ‘Welcome to Prairieville’ is a heartfelt journey through a fictional small town inspired by his own upbringing in Kansas. The music captures his heart for rural, small-town life with vivid imagery and introspective storytelling. Mize recently released his new single “Nothing With You,” a collaboration with his tour’s opening act Grace Leer. Listen here: fanlink.to/LM-GL.

Fans can see Mize perform at the Shullsburg Hometown Throwdown in Shullsburg, WI on Sunday, July 3rd. For more information and upcoming tour dates, visit loganmize.com.
