“I Hold You” was written by Stephen Wilson Jr. (Tim McGraw, Chase Bryant), GRAMMY-nominated songwriter Derrick Southerland (Ingrid Andress, Sam Ellis), and Jamie Paulin (Chris Janson, Kenny Chesney), and was produced by Dan Agee. On the moving track, Mize experiences all the beauty the world has to offer while holding his love, from simple joys like the burn of a good bourbon to the magnificence of seeing the sun and the stars.
“I’ve been a fan of Stephen Wilson Jr. since the first demo I heard of his, which was ‘I Hold You,’” says Mize. “I’ve been itching to put my spin on it since, and I’m thankful I was trusted with it.”
Mize is currently out on his The American Dream Tour, performing across the Midwest throughout the coming months. He will share more new music this year. For more information, visit loganmize.com.
