Today, Manchester Orchestra announced The Amplified Echoes Tour, a co-headline run of 29 North American shows with Jimmy Eat World. Produced by Live Nation, the summer series kicks off July 11th and will bring both bands to illustrious stages including LA's Greek Theatre, Red Rocks Amphitheater, Nashville's Ascend Amphitheater, Chicago's Salt Shed, NYC's SummerStage in Central Park, and more through the end of August.
Tickets are available beginning at 10am local time tomorrow, March 14th, as part of the Citi presale. Additional presales will run throughout the week before the general on sale at 10am local time this Thursday, March 16th. Find the full list of dates below, and more information at manchesterorchestra.com.
Following a hometown return to Atlanta's Shaky Knees in May, The Amplified Echoes Tour will see Manchester Orchestra perform brand new music from The Valley of Vision. Released digitally this past Friday, and out physically on April 7th via Loma Vista Recordings, the album arrives alongside a breathtaking and groundbreaking film that envelops the viewer in 180 degrees of 3D virtual reality. From snow storms in the Rocky Mountains to dark nights in the deep woods of Wyoming, creek beds in Georgia, and foothills of the Adirondacks, The Valley of Vision "conveys its motifs in subtle ways," praises Paste. "Through the verdant, deciduous imagery, its interweaving portrayals of natural decay and idyllic vistas, the harmony that hangs between youth and old age." As BrooklynVegan adds, "Manchester Orchestra have been in the midst of an exciting new chapter of their career...Andy's songwriting is as impactful as ever, and the whole record sounds genuinely gorgeous."

Rooted in a renewed sense of resilience, gratitude and self-redemption, The Valley of Vision is a reinvigorating record that Manchester Orchestra singer and songwriter Andy Hull calls "an exciting idea of what the future could be for us in terms of how we create." Featuring a wealth of sounds and textures unlike anything the band has made before, standouts like "The Way" defy the heavy weight of grief and trauma with vivid stories and cathartic arrangements that are further enhanced by the immersive visual directed by Isaac Deitz.
After selling out four screening events in LA and NYC, and attracting thousands of viewers to a first-of-its-kind, global premiere and afterparty on YouTube last week, The Valley of Vision will also be shown during SXSW this Thursday, March 16th. Attendees can discover the film from 12pm-4pm at The Carpenter Hotel's Quonset Hut, and the band will announce more opportunities to see it together in-person soon.
