Perfectly Imperfect at The Ryman Live Album Available On DSPs Today, Physical Edition out December 4th

Today, Margo Price invites you to join her for A Perfectly Imperfect Night at The Movies. On December 2nd, she will take over Tennessee's Stardust Drive-In Theatre for the debut of her Perfectly Imperfect at The Ryman concert film. Surprise-released as a Bandcamp exclusive benefiting the MusiCares COVID-19 Relief Fund this spring, the Perfectly Imperfect at The Ryman live album features appearances from Emmylou Harris, Jack White and Sturgill Simpson, and NPR Music calls it "a triumphant time capsule, marking Price's arrival as a Nashville giant and one of Americana's brightest contemporary acts." But with the prospect of safe shows still uncertain, Margo hopes the visual can help bring fans as close to the original experience as possible.
A Perfectly Imperfect Night at The Movies will deliver a double-feature, and following her concert film Margo will screen the acclaimed 2019 documentary, Linda Ronstadt: The Sound of My Voice. Courtesy of Nashville record store Grimey's, attendees will also have the chance to purchase the vinyl edition of Perfectly Imperfect at The Ryman before its official release on December 4th. In addition to Perfectly Imperfect at The Ryman, 2020 also saw Margo Price release That's How Rumors Get Started, her third studio LP and "one of the best albums of the year" (Esquire). Produced by Sturgill Simpson, co-produced by Margo and David Ferguson, the record marked Price's debut for Loma Vista and committed to her rock roots like never before as songs addressed relationships and growing pains, motherhood and the mythologies of stardom, dissatisfactions and the defiance of expectations.
Since premiering the first single on Full Frontal with Samantha Bee in January, Margo spent five weeks at #1 on the Americana album and singles charts, debuted #1 on Billboard's Tastemaker chart and #1 on Nielsen's Americana/Folk chart. She gave a one-of-a-kind, one-take performance of "Letting Me Down" on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, sat down with Anthony Mason on CBS This Morning: Saturday, filmed a Cardi B-approved cover of "WAP" for The Daily Show, discussed music's inequalities on Amanpour, asked the Grand Ole Opry to book the Real Lady A, urged the importance of saving independent venues on MSNBC, and made her most striking visual statement to date in the music video for album closer "I'd Die For You."
She also launched her own radio show called Runaway Horses, live-streamed audience-free concerts from Brooklyn Bowl Nashville and Dee's Country Cocktail Lounge, played virtual Farm Aid, benefits for Planned Parenthood, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Tom Petty's 70th birthday and more.
