Margo Price Earns Best New Artist 2019 Grammy Nomination

Margo Price has been nominated for Best New Artist at the 2019 Grammy Awards, subsequent to the release of her acclaimed second album 'All American Made' (Third Man Records) and a breakout year that followed. The honor marks her first nomination.

'All American Made' blanketed year-end lists in 2017, including Entertainment Weekly, Noisey, FADER, The Atlantic, The Ringer and Rolling Stone - who named the album the #1 Country/Americana release of the year and said "no other country act, and precious few from any genre, went nearly as deep as Price did this year." The album also earned Price major profiles with the New York Times and Fresh Air, a #1 spot on the Billboard Americana chart, appearances on Colbert, The Daily Show, Conan, and more. Price toured extensively in 2018, including big plays at Governor's Ball, Lincoln Center, and a sold-out three night stand at Nashville's legendary Ryman Auditorium.

Since the release of her 2016 debut album 'Midwest Farmer's Daughter,' Margo Price has been hailed by Pitchfork for "tackling Steinbeck-sized issues with no-bullshit humility" and American Songwriter calls her "a songwriter with boundless empathy, introspection and bite." She has performed everywhere from SNL to Farm Aid, and previous honors include the Emerging Artist of the Year honor at the 2016 Americana Music Awards, and her own display at the Country Music Hall of Fame.
