Only Female Artist Nominated In New GRAMMY® Category of Best Traditional Country Album; Duet With Tyler Childers Honored In Best Country Duo/Group Performance

Today, Margo Price releases Hard Headed Woman (Deluxe), expanding one of "the year's defining country albums" (Rolling Stone) with four additional songs. Currently nominated for Best Traditional Country Album, and Best Country Duo/Group Performance for "Love Me Like You Used To Do" (feat. Tyler Childers), at the 2026 GRAMMY® Awards, Hard Headed Woman is an exquisite, timeless collection of music that reconnects Margo Price with her roots, which now includes two brand new tracks, a previously unheard collaboration with Logan Ledger, and Price's poignant duet with Billy Strings, "Too Stoned To Cry." To support the ACLU, Margo Price has also shared a Bandcamp Exclusive version of Hard Headed Woman (Deluxe) featuring "Don't Let The Bastards Get You Down" from her appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, performed just hours before the show was pulled off the air this fall. Proceeds from the Bandcamp edition will benefit the non-profit organization until the end of 2025, and all purchases today will further maximize donations through the site's Bandcamp Friday initiative.

As the sole female artist up for Best Traditional Country Album, a new category making its debut next year, Margo Price's latest two GRAMMY® nominations follow her first nod for Best New Artist, when she walked the red carpet six months pregnant. Since then, she has created a lane where independent-minded, insurgent country music can exist and thrive alongside the mainstream – and at its core, Hard Headed Woman is about that furious instinct to never waver, especially when our values and future are so clearly on the line.

Reunited with producer Matt Ross-Spang (Midwest Farmer's DaughterAll American Made), and recorded in Nashville's historic RCA Studio A, Hard Headed Woman captures Margo Price at her wisest, funniest, toughest and most vulnerable, as she "rocks the 'outlaw country' label as hard as anyone in the game" (Pitchfork). The album features duets with Tyler Childers and Jesse Welles, contributions from Kris Kristofferson and Rodney Crowell, and a Waylon Jennings song that his widow, Jessi Colter, urged her to sing, as the music traces Price's journey from dive bars to tour buses, through parenthood and marriage, scrutiny and sacrifice in a place that prizes uniformity and the bottom line. It's country music as only Price can make it: free of rules, cherishing tradition, hard headed but with a delicate beating heart.

After completing the first leg of her Wild At Heart Tour, Margo Price will bring the music of Hard Headed Woman to dozens of more cities in 2026. Find the full list below and tickets at margoprice.net/tour.
