(New York, NY): Today, Brooklyn singer-songwriter Matt Simons debuted his new single "Made It Out Alright." The track is a brilliant slice of contemporary pop that illustrate the depth of Simons’ songwriting talent and his affinity for hook-filled melodies and euphoric choruses.
“I’ll let you know I sleep just fine/ Even though the world’s gonna shake ya/ The view is always worth the climb,” Simons catchy voice floats through the airy, drum beat and whistle that makes up the chorus of the song.

"For me this song answers the question, If you could, what would you say to your 18-21 year old self," he reflects on the meaning behind the song. "I remember feeling so lost and alone around that time and if I could, I’d let him know everything’s going to be OK."
Simons has also released a new video for the single, featuring two young adults, basked in blue and pink powder, experiencing the purest form of escape: love. California transplant, now living in New York, Simons tries to draw on common themes that relate to all humanity--feelings of unrest, movement, new beginnings and wanting to start over.
