Milky Chance Release Stay Home Sessions EP From Quarantine

Today, Milky Chance release their Stay Home Sessions EP (BMG), a collection of socially-distanced recordings of tracks from their “completely unexpected, creatively rich” (American Songwriter) 2019 LP, Mind The Moon. Initially conceived as a way to connect with fans during social isolation, these stripped-down recordings provide an alternative, organic glimpse of the band’s “new twists on the old concept of world music” (NPR Music). The performance of “Eden’s House” is made all the more special by the participation of Milky Chance’s fans, who submitted their own takes on the backing vocal part originally performed by GRAMMY-winning South African choir Ladysmith Black Mambazo.

This weekend, Milky Chance will participate in the One World: Together At Home global streaming event, organized by international advocacy organization Global Citizen in support of the global response to the COVID-19 pandemic being led by the World Health Organization and healthcare workers everywhere. The event leads into a globally broadcast special curated by Lady Gaga and hosted by Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, and Stephen Colbert.
