On Saturday, September 21 from 11am–7pm, Chicago’s iconic Salt Shed will transform into a sanctuary for movement and mindfulness with Move at the Shed — a first-of-its-kind wellness festival offering a customizable, full-body, full-soul experience.
Curated by 16 on Center (the team behind beloved Chicago venues like Thalia Hall and SPACE), Move at the Shed invites guests to recharge and reconnect through yoga, meditation, dance, somatic breathwork, drum cardio, mat-based pilates, and more. The day blends physical rejuvenation and musical elevation, with featured artist performances from Jamila Woods and Vic Mensa, and restorative sessions led by experts like The Sunroom and Common Language.
Move at the Shed is a choose-your-own-adventure: attendees can purchase individual tickets to sessions or opt for a $15 Community Pass, which unlocks access to vendor experiences, lounges, sponsor activations, and open movement offerings like group runs and strength demos powered by partners such as Ethos Training Systems. Attendees can also take advantage of discounted add-on sessions throughout the day.
With over 15 immersive experiences and something for everybody, Move at the Shed promises Chicago’s most soul-nourishing celebration of wellness, music, and community.
