Nabela Noor Introduces Nabela Noor Home, Her Reimagined Home Brand

Previously named Saara & Begum, all of Nabela’s home collections will now be under Nabela Noor Home

Today (3.16), Bangladeshi-American designer, homemaker, author and entrepreneur Nabela Noor introduces Nabela Noor Home, her reimagined home brand. Previously known as Saara & Begum, Nabela Noor Home continues Nabela’s reign as the queen of aesthetics, and features handmade, artisanal products that have been crafted with the intention of adding a little pocket of peace into your homes. 

“After a year and a half of growing as a home brand, we have learned so much from our community at Nabela Noor Home,” says Nabela. “With nearly 1 million community members at NNH, we realized that the heartbeat of our brand is exactly that -- community. So here we are, embracing NNH in a new way, as the hub for all things home, #pocketsofpeace and unique, artisanal home goods.”

Today, Nabela Noor Home releases its first launch under the new name, the Bari Pillow Cover Collection. The collection’s highly anticipated third launch (the first two each sold out in days) includes a selection of seven 20 x 20 inch, hand-stitched, artisanal sari pillow covers with all new prints. Designed by Nabela Noor and hand-stitched by Mohammad Mizan – a Bangladeshi tailor who has stitched garments for Nabela's family in Bangladesh for nearly 20 years –  each pillow cover retails for $35. 

The collection – released on Nabela’s daughter Amalia’s first birthday – pays homage to Nabela's maternal grandmother Saara's home in Bangladesh, who Nabela grew up calling Nani Bari. The creation of each pillow cover is truly a family affair, with Nabela’s cousin, Nadia and Nabela’s mother and sister, Tanzina on the grounds in Bangladesh sourcing fabrics in authentic Bengali marketplaces. Each pillow is made from traditional sari fabrics sourced from the marketplaces of Bangladesh and features a new premium gold zipper.
