Reddit AMA Confirmed for 2PM PST Today; NPR First Listen Live Performance Airing June 21
'case/lang/veirs,' the collaborative album featuring Neko Case, k.d. lang, and Laura Veirs, is out today on ANTI- and is being met with rave reviews. On June 21, NPR Music and opbmusic in Portland will air a special First Listen Live broadcast featuring a full concert performance by case/lang/veirs and their band. The album was just featured as an NPR First Listen album stream and NPR's Weekend Edition will air an interview with all three artists this Sunday.
Today Reddit will host an AMA with all three artists at 2PM Pacific Time. Coming soon are sessions with KCRW's Morning Becomes Eclectic and national television performances to be announced.
case/lang/veirs and a full supporting band launch an extensive US summer tour next week that includes The Greek in LA, Celebrate Brooklyn and the Newport Folk Festival.
The new project started with an email that k.d. sent to Neko and Laura on a whim, reading simply: "I think we should make a record together." Two-and-a-half years later, that record is finally here - fourteen new, original songs written by the artists and recorded together in Portland with the help of producer Tucker Martine.
