NPR Music's First Listen says Walter Martin of the Walkmen's new album about art history 'Arts & Leisure' has "a loosely ambling quality to it that's hard to resist" and add "as lofty as its subject matter can get, the album never strays from the knockabout charm that has become Walter Martin's stock in trade." The New York Times said 'Arts & Leisure' "carries a sense of wonder [with] a wry humor and clear narrative" and SPIN called it "full of Martins characteristic wit." He'll also be featured in All Things Considered, The New Yorker, The Washington Post, Studio 360, WNYC Soundcheck, and even be interviewed by Matt Berninger of the National.
'Arts & Leisure' comes out January 29. The day before Walter will play an album release show at NYC's Union Pool.
