Digital music pioneer nugs.net had their biggest summer ever. Six of the world's biggest touring acts (Dead & Company, Metallica, Pearl Jam, Phish, Bruce Springsteen, Zac Brown Band) this summer worked with nugs.net to deliver the live concert experience to their fans.
This past weekend alone nugs.tv hosted seven webcasts from Red Rocks, Coney Island, The Capitol Theatre, and The Brooklyn Bowl.
nugs.net has been hooking fans up with full concert live downloads and streams from their favorite touring acts, recorded in high resolution and with a quick turnaround time.
• nugs.net reached over 10 million fans via Facebook Live with HD streams from artists like Zac Brown Band, Dead & Company, Widespread Panic, Phish and more, driving artist discovery.
• Dead & Company - Live Pay-Per-View webcasts on AppleTV, nugs.tv, and in the nugs.net app - live streamed 12 shows for fans.
• Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band - Released recordings of 20+ shows from "The River Tour" summer European and U.S. tour dates at Live.BruceSpringsteen.net.
• Zac Brown Band - For the first time ever, fans who were not able to attend the band's August 20 & 21 sold-out shows at Boston's Fenway Park could tune into nugs.tv to watch the shows live. Both nights were made available as Pay-Per-View webcasts at nugs.tv and in the nugs.net app for AppleTV.
• LOCKN' Festival 2016 - nugs.tv powered a free, four-day FullHD webcast featuring My Morning Jacket, Ween, Phish and more.
• Metallica Live from US Bank Stadium - nugs.net delivered a free audio simulcast reaching hundreds of thousands of Metallica fans around the world. Fans could hear it live and purchase downloads and CDs of the show at the nugs.net-run LiveMetallica.com.
On top of their collaborations with current tours, they've also rolled out two subscription services on iOS, Android, and AppleTV. LivePhish offers unlimited on-demand access to the Phish live catalog, while the nugs.net app is an all-you-can-eat live music service for bands including Pearl Jam, Dead & Company, and Widespread Panic.
Between working with the biggest touring acts and venturing into new genres of music, nugs.net is the standard channel for live music, giving fans a slice of an incomparable experience.
