ODESZA Gets Reimagined On ‘A Moment Apart’ Remix Collection, Out Today

Today the momentum behind ODESZA’s 2017 juggernaut album ‘A Moment Apart’ shows little sign of slowing as the duo releases the ‘A Moment Apart Remixes’ EP via Counter Records. Comprised of remixes by some of ODESZA’s favorite artists and friends (including several Foreign Family Collective members such as Chet Porter, ford., Mild Minds, and Running Touch), the EP reimagines six tracks off the twice GRAMMY-nominated LP, paying creative respect to the source material and providing a fresh take on one of last year’s most beloved electronic albums.

The lush, gorgeous reinventions on the EP feel otherworldly, with contributors using the sonic landscape of the ‘A Moment Apart’ LP as their creative playground, conjuring up a collection that feels somehow celestial, urban and tribal all at the same time. 

“We wanted to handpick some of our favorite producers and friends to re-contextualize songs off of ‘A Moment Apart’. A lot of the tracks on this package weren’t the main singles which led to some awesome reinterpretations," said ODESZA's Harrison Mills and Clayton Knight. "We’re really impressed with the ability of each of these artists to have made it their own and can’t wait for everyone to hear them too.”

Following the release of ‘A Moment Apart Remixes’, ODESZA will take the stage at M3F Festival in Phoenix on March 1 and CRSSD Fest in San Diego on March 3 before they head to Riviera Maya, Mexico for their first ever self-curated all-inclusive festival SUNDARA March 13-16.
