Today, with its latest wave of lineup additions, On Air Fest brings together more of the storytellers, shows and sounds that are shaping this moment in audio. From Feb 23-25 at Brooklyn's Wythe Hotel, for its most groundbreaking and culture-defining year to date, the event that's been called "the Coachella of podcast festivals" (Fast Company) has just added Normal Gossip, a conversation between US Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy and Krista Tippett for the relaunch of On Being, and a taping of Mobituaries from host Mo Rocca and Dead Eyes' Connor Ratliff to its Main Stage programming. Upstairs in The Podcast Penthouse presented by Simplecast, for the first time ever, On Air's 2023 edition will also feature a second stage dedicated solely to live tapings, with an exploration and performance of Puerto Rican music from WNYC Studios and Futuro Studios' La Brega, a dinosaur-centric sound design discussion from Vox's Unexplainable, and a Sheroes interview with Grammy nominee Valerie June joining a bill that already includes NPR's Life KitTalk Easy with Sam Fragoso, Talkhouse's That's How I Remember It with host Craig Finn and guest Kevin Morby, special sessions with Simplecast and more.

Throughout the rest of the weekend, the Main Stage sessions will unite both the established leaders and emerging voices who are paving the future of podcasting. Unanimously named one of the best new series of 2022 by Esquire, Spotify, Time, The Atlantic, Variety, Vogue, Vulture and many more, breakout hit Normal Gossip will demonstrate how it tells a story. Host Kelsey McKinney and producer Alex Sujong Laughlin will pull back the curtain on their process, while requesting and retelling anonymous secrets from attendees all weekend. Also named one of the best series of 2022, Slow Burn: Roe v. Wade will bring host Susan Matthews and producers Samira Tazari and Sophie Summergrad to a live audience. CNN Anchor Audie Cornish is set to receive this year's Audio Vanguard Award alongside a career-spanning conversation with Kara Swisher, while a can't-miss, non-stop schedule will further expand the creative possibilities of sound.

In addition to world premieres, exclusive presentations and episode tapings from Not Lost with guest John Cameron Mitchell, People's Party with Talib Kweli, Craig Finn and Kevin Morby, Sisters with Kaitlin and Natalie Prest, Talk Easy with Sam Fragoso, brand new series like CBC's The Africas vs. America, Radiotopia's Bot Love, The Moth's Grown and more, next month will bring the inaugural debut of On Air: The Podcast Experience. The first of its kind, interactive exhibit invites fans to step into their favorite podcasts, as a floor of multiple rooms at the Wythe Hotel is taken over by the worlds of My Favorite MurderOn BeingRadiolab, Sonos' Object of Sound with host Hanif Abdurraqib, and The Heart. Showcasing the deep, singular connections listeners have with shows and their creators, On Air: The Podcast Experience will run from February 23-26, and is open to all festival attendees and independent ticket holders.
