On NPR's All Things Considered Ian McLagan reflects on his late wife Kim's impact on new album 'United States' (out now on Yep Roc). From their first kiss when Kim was still dating Keith Moon to his heart-wrenching new track "Love Letter," Ian is continually inspired by Kim. "Not all the saddest songs [are inspired by her]--some of the funniest songs or the lightest songs are bits of her," says Ian. "She's always there, bringing that out of me."
