On Thursday, March 27th, Jake Shimabukuro and his four-string uke will rock the Highline Ballroom with “a musical style that is energetic to the point of athletic” (USA Today) as part of his Uke Nations U.S. Tour. With added instrumentation including multiple ukes and a bassist, Uke Nations is proving to be Shimabukuro’s most adventurous tour to date.

In his humble rise to becoming who Rolling Stone calls “one of the hottest axmen of the past few years," Shimabukuro’s “virtuosic chops and tasteful sensibilities" (Billboard) took him from YouTube fame to being an “international sensation” (The Today Show) heralded as the “Jimi Hendrix of the ukulele” (Guitar Player).
