MARCH 22, 2022 - NEW YORK, NY - Oscar Stembridge, the 13 year old Swedish indie-rock sensation has released his latest inspiring single, “Am I The Only One” from his upcoming album. The release follows the announcement of Stembridge’s first ever U.S. tour later this year.
“Am I The Only One” is the second track off of Stembridge’s upcoming 5-track EP, Thir13en which is a collection of personal reflections on his 13th year living on this amazing planet. The full EP will be released on June 24, 2022. The music video for the song was filmed in Stembridge’s childhood school. As he walks through the hallways, the song reminisces on all of his experiences and emotions that feed into “Am I The Only One”.
Speaking about the track, Oscar Stembridge says, “This is the most personal song that I have ever written. It is about a time when I was feeling very down, lonely and didn’t really know where to turn. Working with Kristofer Greczula and Isa Tengblad - two great Swedish artists in their own right - has been an amazing experience and gave me the confidence to write a song with such strong personal emotions. So many people feel alone and excluded and it’s so important that people know they are not alone in feeling this way. We are not the only ones.”
Oscar is now working with acclaimed artist manager and vocal coach “Mama Jan” Smith (Justin Bieber, Usher) and will be touring in the U.S. this summer. This is the just the beginning of Oscar realizing his dream to perform for a sold out Madison Square Garden - a dream he first had while playing his guitar as a young boy in a small village on the south coast of Sweden.
