NEW YORK, NY (August 26th, 2026) — Tennis executive, ESPN analyst, and former U.S. Davis Cup captain Patrick McEnroe and sports executive Rich "Big Daddy" Salgado today launch The Mac Daddy Show, a new three-times-weekly show featuring in-depth conversations with some of the biggest names in sports, entertainment, and culture.
Hosted by McEnroe and Salgado, whose decades-long relationships span professional sports, media, business, and culture, The Mac Daddy Show goes beyond the headlines with candid conversations that explore the defining moments, career decisions, and personal stories behind some of today's most recognizable figures.
Combining McEnroe's decades as one of tennis's most respected broadcasters and executives with Salgado's longstanding relationships across professional sports, media, and business, the show offers listeners a level of access few shows can match.
Premiering today, the first episode of The Mac Daddy Show features Michael Strahan, Pro Football Hall of Famer and Emmy Award-winning television host. He spoke about the “when, not if” mentality his father instilled in him and how it shaped his approach to football and life, from never “cheating the game” to knowing when it was time to walk away. Strahan also reflected on his transition from the field to television, including the nerve-racking moment when Robin Roberts reassured him, “You belong,” during his first Oscars red-carpet appearance.

ABOUT PATRICK MCENROE
Patrick McEnroe is a tennis executive, broadcaster, and former U.S. Davis Cup captain whose influence on the sport extends far beyond his playing days. After retiring from professional tennis in 1998, he became one of ESPN’s leading tennis analysts, known for his sharp insight and engaging commentary across all four Grand Slam tournaments. In administration, McEnroe served as the General Manager of USTA Player Development, shaping the next generation of American players and modernizing the nation’s coaching infrastructure. As U.S. Davis Cup captain from 2000 to 2010, he guided the team to victory in 2007 — America’s first title in over a decade.
