Phil Lesh Brings ‘Grateful Rockers’ Children’s Music Workshop To Brooklyn Bowl, Sunday December 28th

On Sunday December 28th, Brooklyn Bowl will welcome The Grateful Dead’s legendary bass player Phil Lesh for a special ‘Grateful Rockers’ Children's Music Workshop presented by The Rock and Roll Playhouse.

The intimate workshop, for children 3-7 years old, will have even the littlest fans rocking out with egg shakers to “Shakedown Street” and running an obstacle course to “The Race is On.”  All proceeds from the event will be donated to children’s music charity, The Mr. Holland’s Opus Foundation.

RRPH workshops are designed to support child development, encourage creative interaction, and provide families with opportunities to appreciate music together.  RRPH is looking forward to opening a location in the near future that will feature hands-on education programs for children and adults, evening jazz performances, a gallery space, outdoor garden, and family dining with food by Blue Ribbon.

Please visit the RRPH website for more information about the project and ways to get RRPH involved in schools in your community.  For more information contact info@therockandrollplayhouse.com.
