Phillip Phillips Releases New Song  “Dancing With Your Shadows”

 

(New York, NY) February 10, 2023 – Platinum-selling recording artist Phillip Phillips releases new song, “Dancing With Your Shadows” today. Produced by Todd Clark and co-written by Phillip Phillips, Clark and Quinn Lewis, “Dancing With Your Shadow” is from Phillips’ forthcoming new album to be released this summer.   Phillips will tour this summer and has announced a few select dates with Michael Franti and Spearhead (dates below).

Phillips talks about his new song, “Dancing With Your Shadows” is about knowing someone so well and being able to see them fall or struggle before they do. I wrote this song during a particularly difficult time with someone in my life, and they were going through a lot. Really in a dark place. Sometimes when someone is in that place, they don’t need you to fix it, they just need you to be in it with them. To dance in the shadows with them.”  He continues “My wife is a therapist and she always talks about how she will climb into the hole with her people until they realize they have the tools to climb out themselves. We’ve all danced with our shadows once or twice."

Multi-Platinum selling recording artist and AMERICAN IDOL Season 11 winner Phillip Phillips has released three chart-topping albums and taken his expansive brand of earthy, guitar-fueled rock to stages across the globe.
