Qobuz Chosen as Official Hi-Res Streaming Service at CE Week 2019

CE Week Takes Over Jacob K. Javits Center, June 12-13

Qobuz, the certified Hi-Res hybrid streaming and download service, has been named the official Hi-Res streaming service of CE Week. Taking place June 12th and 13th at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in NYC, CE Week showcases the best in innovation and emerging trends in technology, and is the North American leg of IFA, the world’s largest technology trade show.

Qobuz, which launched in the US in February after a decade of success in Europe, is now playing an integral role in the expanding higher-quality music ecosystem. Designed with audiophiles in mind, it serves the substantial audience for enhanced listening (estimated by MusicWatch as 32M) by bringing Hi-Res music (1,000 albums/month are now released in Hi-Res according to the RIAA) to a hybrid streaming and download platform.

At CE Week, Qobuz will represent the growing trends towards Hi-Res music, offer listening demos, and make the rounds alongside some of the world’s most advanced, high-end audio technology. Also present at CE Week will be 3D printing, connected cars, high-end audio, AI & robotics, smart home technology, wearable technology, and more. Qobuz will offer all show attendees a free one month trial of Hi-Res streaming along with a chance to win a pair of audiophile headphones.

Managing Director Dan Mackta said of the company’s participation in CE, “Being the official Hi-Res streaming service of this show is an important way for Qobuz to spread the word that audio quality and convenience can now go hand-in-hand, and that the time for a truly premium streaming experience has come.”
