Friday, February 13 - Today, NYC rock trio Quarters announce their third record I HOPE THIS ISN'T THE END OF THE WORLD set to arrive March 13 via Warner Music Group/Sparta. This LP precedes their upcoming North American Headline Tour with support from artists including Porch Light, Charlie Burg, Telescreensand more. Quarters will perform a two night homecoming at Irving Plaza in NYC onApril 17 and 18 - their largest feat to date - and a victory lap for a band that grew up outside the venue’s very doors (tickets available for purchase HERE).
In tandem with the album announcement, the band also releases their third installment of new music: RADIO SILENCE. Built on simmering tension, the song balances reflective songwriting and slowly coiling guitars. Earmilk lauds Quarters’ new music as “stirring and impossible to ignore” as part of their creative, artistic rebirth.
Frontman Ben Roter shares: “'RADIO SILENCE' finds clarity in exhaustion, mapping the collapse of trust in a relationship onto a listening world in crisis, overwhelmed by noise.”

RADIO SILENCE Artwork |
RADIO SILENCE spotlights the band at full strength, marrying Ben Roter’s incisive, introspective lyricism with Attila Anrather’s restrained, purposeful drumming and Jasper Harris’ gripping, layered guitar work. Built on a slow-burn sense of emotional suspension, the track leans into unresolved tension, underscored by vivid lines like, ‘I know it’s hard to understand an empty space that was once filled with light and love / like a ballroom stripped of all its chandeliers.’ Anchored by a signature guitar solo, Harris flexes his technical precision, a skillset he began developing at age eight after teaching himself to play through a video game.
