Lita Ford, lead guitarist for iconic 70's female hard rockers The Runaways and prolific solo artist, will make her Iridium debut June 24 performing with the Les Paul Trio as part of the club's trademark Les Paul Mondays series. Sets are at 8 & 10pm. Tickets are $55 for preferred seating, $45 for general admission, and available at http://www.theiridium.com
Ford joined the Runaways with fellow guitarist Joan Jett at 16, going on to international fame with hits like "Cherry Bomb" and "Queens of Noise." Following the band's breakup, Ford released a series of solo records, including the Top Ten single "Close My Eyes Forever," a duet with Ozzy Osbourne. Ford's latest album, 2012's 'Living Like a Runaway,' was produced by Gary Hoey and features a collaboration with Nikki Sixx.
