SAM AND COLBY WIN TEEN CHOICE AWARD FOR "CHOICE YOUTUBER"

Entrepreneurs, entertainers and thrill-seekers Sam and Colby are the 2019 TEEN CHOICE AWARD winner for “CHOICE YOUTUBER,” earning the fan-voted award over David Dobrik, Erika Costell, Kian and JC, The Merrell Twins, and Niki and Gabi. This is the duo’s first Teen Choice Award win. 

“We were just two teens from Kansas trying to make an impact,” says Sam Golbach and Colby Brock. “We never thought it would turn into this and we’re so honored. We want to first and foremost thank our fans who have supported us throughout the entire journey.”

Sam and Colby's latest series, “The Origin,” instantly went viral upon debuting, trending at No. 2 on Twitter and No. 4 on YouTube and earning more than 1 million views in just 5 hours. The series is currently trending No.2 behind the Teen Choice Awards. This series follows their paranormal-driven series “Witches Forest” (5 episodes, 13 million collective views) and “Stanley Hotel” (6 episodes, 16.4 million collective views). Collectively, they have more than 7 million YouTube subscribers and 3 million Instagram followers. 

The 22-year-old entertainers recently announced a Snapchat Original docu-series called “Stranded with Sam and Colby” (Bunim/Murray Productions), where the two film from a haunted location and what starts as something fun quickly takes a terrifying turn. The show is set to bow Fall 2019. Additionally, their popular lifestyle brand XPLR has partnered with Hot Topic for a limited time capsule collection, available online now.
