Sarah McLachlan Releases New Single “All This Disaster” Via Concord Records
Better Broken Summer Tour Kicks Off July 1; Stops Include Forest Hills Stadium, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Greek Theatre & More

FRIDAY, APRIL 24 – Today, 3X GRAMMY Award winner and “one of popular music’s most beautiful voices” (Variety) Sarah McLachlan released her new single “All This Disaster” via Concord Records. The single arrives on the heels of McLachlan’s critically acclaimed album Better Broken, which she released last fall. Listen to “All This Disaster” HERE.
“‘All This Disaster’ started as an acoustic guitar groove idea that had floated around for years until I absentmindedly played it for Tony Berg and Will Maclellan while recording for my new album. I was working with and becoming familiar with Alex Greenwald’s music from Phantom Planet and thought - I love his writing; he’d be perfect on this. I sent the song to him, and he came up with some great simple lyrics and, from there, the song came together quickly,” McLachlan shares. “It feels like summer, driving, top down, leaving all your cares behind, if only for a while.”
Better Broken, McLachlan’s first new album in almost a decade, was acclaimed by The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, the Wall Street Journal, Grammy.com, and more. McLachlan recently performed two songs from the record, as well as a few catalogue fan favorites, on NPR’s Tiny Desk. She spoke recently about the album and the legacy of the iconic Lilith Fair, and more on the Golden Globe Award-winning podcast, Good Hang with Amy Poehler.
On July 1, she’ll kick off her Better Broken Summer Tour, which will include stops in Atlanta, Philadelphia, Boston, Chicago, San Diego, Bend, and more, before concluding with two nights on August 8 and 9 in Woodinville, WA at Chateau Ste Michelle Winery. The tour will also feature performances at several iconic venues, including Forest Hills Stadium in Forest Hills, NY, Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO, and two nights at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, CA. Over her three-decade career, McLachlan has sold more than 40 million albums worldwide and earned three GRAMMY Awards and twelve JUNO Awards. Beyond her music, her cultural impact includes founding Lilith Fair, the groundbreaking all-female festival that helped reshape the live music landscape. That legacy was recently revisited in Lilith Fair: Building A Mystery – The Untold Story, which premiered at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival to critical acclaim before debuting on Hulu. The film is executive produced by Dan Levy and directed by Ally Pankiw and was noted as one of the top documentary films to watch in 2025 by the Los Angeles Times.
McLachlan’s influence also extends deeply into philanthropy. She is the founder of the Sarah McLachlan School of Music, a not-for-profit providing free music education and mentorship to underserved children and youth facing barriers to access. Established in Vancouver in 2002, the school now serves more than 2,000 students annually across three Canadian cities, with McLachlan personally covering administrative costs to ensure all fundraising directly supports its students. $1 from every ticket sold on the tour will be donated to the School.
