“Paradise” is just one of the character studies of his hometown that Scarypoolparty presents on his new EP, LOS ANGELES. MTV calls the four-track project “a cold, metallic Queen of the Damned soundtrack filtered through the warm lights of his home, Los Angeles... [it] captures what it's given him: the emotion, the part-time jobs, the long talks, the longer drives, and every moment in quarantine.” The EP is his most accessible collection yet. He was stylistically able to lean into more pop-focused structures while still channeling signature trap-infused, classical bravado.
