Secretly Distribution Announces Worldwide Distribution Deals With Three Influential Record Labels Across The Globe

Today, Secretly Distribution announces worldwide distribution deals with three independent record labels across the globe: Blue Flowers, Hopestreet Recordings and Ubiquity. 

Originally formed in 2004 as a West London club night at The George IV pub, the UK's Blue Flowers has since evolved into an equally singular label championing a new generation of artists including Nilüfer Yanya, Puma Blue, Westerman, Gotts Street Park, Rosie Lowe and Yoshika Colwell. 

Based in Melbourne, Australia, Hopestreet Recordings also comes from communal roots, as the artist-run company has released a range of soulful music – from soul and funk to highlife, salsa and psychedelia by the likes of Immy Owusu, Owelu Dreamhouse, Wild Gloriosa, The Bombay Royale, The Meltdown, Emma Donovan & The Putbacks and Ella Thompson – all recorded right there in their hometown.

Founded more than 35 years ago by Michael McFadin, Ubiquity was built on an American dream, investing the last of his savings into a business that began as the world-renowned Groove Merchant record store on San Francisco's Haight Street, before relocating to Southern California and transforming into a multi-genre label with several imprints, all making unheard music available everywhere (Luv n' Haight for rare reissued gems, CuBop for Latin jazz, and Ubiquity, whose 400+ releases range from hip-hop to funk, soul and electronic music). 

Secretly Distribution will now handle physical and digital music distribution, digital and retail marketing, and technological support for all Blue Flowers, Hopestreet Recordings and Ubiquity releases.

The news follows Secretly Distribution's recent win for Distributor of The Year at the 2026 Libera Awards, as well as the launch of the company's new APAC division, bespoke repertoire management system, and banner releases from Phoebe Bridgers and hundreds more.
