Today (4.15), four-time Olympic medalist Shawn Johnson East and former NFL pro Andrew East announce their book tour, The Courage to Commit Nights. The June tour is in celebration of their upcoming, co-authored book, The Courage to Commit: The Radical Power of Sticking with Something, coming June 9 via Portfolio Books, an imprint of Penguin Publishing Group.
The four-stop tour – which kicks off in their adopted hometown of Nashville and continues to Philadelphia, NYC, and Chicago – will feature a night full of laughs, honest conversation, and unpacking relationships, commitment, and the things we’re all still figuring out along the way.
The proud parents of three, who celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary this week, will share behind-the-scenes stories and the heart behind the book — what they’ve learned through the highs, the failures, and everything in between, to bring home the book’s main message: commitment doesn’t trap you, it actually sets you free.
Tickets will go on sale on Friday, April 17th. VIP tickets will also be available, including a post-show book signing and photos with Shawn and Andrew.
