October 4, 2023— Shore Fire Media, a leading PR firm representing top talent, musicians, and businesses in arts and entertainment, has announced the promotions of two staff members, Haley Griffin and Henry Thomas, to Junior Account Executives. For both Haley and Henry, the new positions represent their second promotions since joining Shore Fire. Hired as interns in 2022, each became a Publicity Assistant later that year. Their promotions reflect Shore Fire’s commitment to cultivating internal talent.
Shore Fire Media Senior VP Rebecca Shapiro said, “In just over a year, Haley and Henry have displayed their talent, commitment, and growth. We’re excited to recognize their contributions and confident that they will shine in their new roles.”
Haley Griffin wears many hats at Shore Fire. She has been a key player in campaigns for Nguyen Coffee Supply, grentperez, and ROSIE, leads Shore Fire Media’s internship program and has worked closely with Senior Vice President Rebecca Shapiro as her assistant. Hailing from the Milwaukee area, Griffin got her start in the music industry after earning a vocal scholarship to Berklee College of Music, where she graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Professional Music. During college, she interned at Hit Songs Deconstructed, Powderfinger Promotions, and MN2S—the latter hired Griffin as a contract bio writer. She continued her studies at USC, earning both a fellowship and scholarship to attend its master’s program “Specialized Journalism: The Arts.” Griffin was the music editor of the college’s magazine, Ampersand LA, and represented her university in the 20th Anniversary Pop Conference. Outside of her work as a publicist, Griffin is a private vocal coach.
Henry Thomas came to Shore Fire in 2022 following a stint at indie PR company Clandestine Label Services and internships at independent labels Northern Spy Records and Luaka Bop. In his role at Shore Fire as Publicity Assistant, Henry has worked on campaigns for Kesha, Trixie Mattel, Prince’s Diamonds and Pearls reissue, indie rockers MAN ON MAN, and 2023 Grammy-nominees ODESZA, in addition to assisting on Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band’s 2023 US tour. A Hudson Valley native, Thomas had an early passion for journalism, local radio, and music discovery. He attended Skidmore College where he majored in American Studies and wrote his senior thesis on the commercialization of 20th-century American folk music---with much of his time spent spinning records for Skidmore’s community radio station WSPN, where he served on the board as music director and webmaster. Henry takes pride in his creative storytelling abilities and is looking forward to his future at Shore Fire.
