LOS ANGELES — This month, Soulection, the independent music platform, label, radio show and artist collective regarded as “the cheat code for discovering great new music” (Essence), will commemorate 10 years of identifying and curating The Sound of Tomorrow.  To celebrate the milestone, on Saturday, April 10th, Soulection will take over Apple Music 1 for “Timeless Sounds 10 Year Mix,” a live nine hour event streaming from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. PT. Each hour will be filled with specially curated mixes from Soulection founder Joe Kay, Jared Jackson, Andre Power, IAMNOBODI and several other longtime Soulection staples. Immediately following the broadcast is the 500th episode of Soulection Radio, which will stream from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. PT. “Timeless Sounds 10 Year Mix” will take listeners through a decade of cultural zeitgeist.
