The United States leg of St. Vincent’s ‘Fear The Future’ Tour begins tomorrow night at The Fillmore in Detroit, with the kick-off show available for live streaming on Twitter via Live Nation: http://bit.ly/2zy4ffu. The U.S. run comes on the heels of a string of European ‘Fear The Future’ Tour dates, which Noisey praised as “reconstructing the parameters of what a gig can be,” while dubbing Annie Clark “the best pop star we have.”
St. Vincent also appeared on The Ellen Degeneres Show this past Friday, where she performed ‘MASSEDUCTION’ standout “Los Ageless” with a troupe of Ace bandage-clad contemporary dancers. Watch the performance here: http://bit.ly/2i3dQS7
Last week St. Vincent added twelve dates to the U.S. tour, stretching the run into March 2018. Tickets for those new shows, as well as a just-announced second show in Austin set for February 23, are available here: http://ilovestvincent.com/#tour
The Ellen performance and return to the United States come on the heels of St. Vincent’s first-ever top ten debut on the Billboard 200 and the highest praise of her career:
“A push toward making big-time pop deeper, and darker.” – THE NEW YORK TIMES
“A masterpiece of confrontational intimacy…the most direct Clark has ever been.” – ROLLING STONE
“At once epic and intimate, fusing the myth of the legend-like St. Vincent with what it means to be simply Annie Clark.” – BILLBOARD
“St. Vincent’s new album is brilliant…one of pop’s smartest, craftiest young artists…easily her best record yet.” – THE LOS ANGELES TIMES
“A career summit. It’s her ‘Lemonade,’ her ‘OK Computer’” - NYLON
