September 1, 2023– 2x-GRAMMY-nominated artist and producer Steve Aoki has teamed up with Dutch DJ Tony Junior to create a hard-hitting dance remake of MGMT’s 2007 hit single “Kids.” The track is the newest single off of Aoki’s upcoming 8th studio album HiROQUEST: Double Helix out November 17, 2023. Aoki and Junior previously worked together on the Neon Future II single “Lightning Strikes” in collaboration with NERVO.

HiROQUEST: Double Helix will feature collaborations with Paris Hilton, Akon, Ángela Aguilar, Danna Paola, Greeicy, Galantis, JJ Lin, Hayley Kiyoko, Timmy Trumpet, and John Martin. The album is an extension of the genre-expanding universe Aoki introduced on 2022’s HiROQUEST: Genesis. Recorded primarily in Las Vegas and Miami, HiROQUEST: Double Helix embraces a sense of nostalgia for the early days of Aoki’s career while also pushing dance music into the future.

Aoki explains: “HiROQUEST is an entire world I crafted around an enigmatic character named Hiro.. Part I was largely driven by my alt-music roots in hardcore punk bands. Now, the story continues on Double Helix, which embraces dance culture while intertwining the pulse of contemporary Latin, and Alternative music.”

Fresh off summer performances at Tomorrowland, where he was joined by Paris Hilton, Kid Cudi, Lil’ Jon, Danna Paola, and John Martin, and Ultra Europe, Aoki has announced the HiROQUEST 2: DOUBLE HELIX FALL WORLD TOUR. Fans can catch Aoki performing material off his upcoming album at festivals including Electric Daisy Carnival in Orlando, Tomorrowland Brazil, Creamfields Chile, Decadence Arizona, and many more dates to be announced soon. Throughout the fall, Aoki will perform at his Las Vegas residencies at Omnia, Hakkasan and Wet Republic. For the most up-to-date itinerary, please visit steveaoki.com
