The Ghost Of A Saber Tooth Tiger with Sean Lennon (presented by Cutty Sark) - Wed, July 15
Luckily for Sean Lennon, having a famous father has not gotten in the way of him establishing a successful and original music career. Lennon, along with Charlotte Kemp Muhl, leads this six-piece psych rock band that embraces psychedelic composition and catchy hooks. Rolling Stone listed the band’s latest album ‘Midnight Sun’ as one of the best albums of 2014, and NPR’s Robin Hilton described the band’s live performance as, “the most awesome live show I’ve seen in ages.” The band will perform at Brooklyn Bowl with special guests to be announced (show: 8:30pm, admission: $15).

The Floozies - Thu, July 16
Brothers Matt and Mark Hill have embraced modern upbeat electronica and classic funk to make music that caters to a festival crowd, but a live Floozies show is no laptop performance – the Hill brothers incorporate real instruments into their sets, and they’ve become favorites at Electric Forest, Wakarusa, Summercamp, and more. The Floozies will be at Brooklyn Bowl with jackLNDN (show:8:30pm, admission: $15)

Langhorne Slim and the Law - Thu, July 23
One of this decade’s best-kept secrets is ‘The Way We Move’, the 2012 album in which singer-songwriter Langhorne Slim came into his own as one of the great Americana songwriters. Slim, especially in a live setting, embodies the restless young spirit of an American man who lives his life on the road and sings of the spiritual and inspired side of classic rock & roll via The Band and Bob Dylan. Langhorne Slim will bring his energetic live show to Brooklyn Bowl with TRAVELLER and Fly Golden Eagle (show: 8:00pm, admission: $15).

Shuggie Otis - Fri, July 24
Legendary blues guitarist Shuggie Otis wrote his classic #1 R&B hit “Strawberry Letter 23” in 1977, but he’s still going strong in 2015. Otis is a favorite among the likes of David Byrne, who re-released his cult-classic 1974 album ‘Inspiration Information’, Mos Def, who hired him to play guitar on “Blue Black Jack”, and Beyoncé, who samples Otis on “Be With You”. Make sure to see Shuggie Otis when he comes to Brooklyn Bowl with Douglas and the Goodharts and Father Dude (show: 8:00pm, admission: $25).

From the Jam - Thu and Fri, July 30 and 31
When The Jam called it quits in 1982, bassist Bruce Foxton continued playing in several different bands until 2007 when he joined forces with guitarist/vocalist Russell Hastings to form From The Jam, which carries on the same punk-pop spirit of its original incarnation. Their new album ‘Smash the Clock’ will be released in October and features drummer Steve Barnard, who has played with Robbie Williams and Joe Strummer. Don’t miss this special event at Brooklyn Bowl, which also features special guests to be announced (shows: 8:00pm, admission: $20)
