This week, Talkhouse continues its most prolific season of programming to date with the launch of two brand new podcasts created and hosted by Santigold (Noble Champions) and Kimbra (Playing With Fire), further reaffirming its place as the premier platform for artist-centric stories told from the first-person perspective. Built on a foundation of conversations rooted in authenticity, credibility and creativity, the Webby Award-winning network serves as an entrance into the minds of its audience's favorite musicians, filmmakers, actors and other trailblazing, multi-talented visionaries like Kimbra, Santigold and more.
Out this coming Monday, October 31st, the first episode of Santigold's Noble Championswill include a roundtable talk about art and spirituality with Yasiin Bey and Sanford Biggers. A modern day salon, each installment of the weekly series will see host and creator Santigold sit down with some of today's leading artists, authors, activists and progressive thinkers who stand up, stick up and speak up for important causes, from Olivia Wilde and Questlove to Angela Yee, Bun B, Dan Kovalik, Idris Elba, Mary Anais Heglar, Rebecca Walker, Resmaa Menakem, Saul Williams and Tunde Adebimpe. Inspired by the artist Kandinsky, when he said that periods during which art has no noble champions are ones of retrogression, these intimate no-holds-barred conversations are where Santi and her fellow champions try to make some sense out of our world, to push culture forward. Delivering a boundary-expanding and defiantly vulnerable exchange of ideas and experiences, Noble Champions is a public invitation to an intimate gathering of the minds.

Available now, the first three episodes of Playing With Fire feature Kimbra in conversation with Mitski, Bethany Joy Lenz, and Jedidiah Jenkins. Produced and hosted by Kimbra, Playing With Fire is a podcast devoted to exploring the topic of TRANSCENDENCE and the ways in which it manifests in people's lives. With new installments released in batches of three throughout this fall and winter, Kimbra will ask a musician, an author, an actress, a priest, and a best friend what transcendence means to them, and how it has changed the way they live and work. For some, it's found in the ecstatic, grand, and psychedelic moments. For others, it's hidden in the ordinary, and seemingly mundane. Playing With Fire is an exploration into the unknown, the intangible, and the simply intoxicating path of seeking, as Kimbra also explores her own experiences of transcendence, giving the listener further insight into her process as a songwriter and producer.

Noble Champions and Playing With Fire mark the final pair of new podcasts that Talkhouse will introduce in 2022, following the launch of acclaimed series like Björk: Sonic Symbolism.
