With the launch of a brand new season devoted to the careers of Lou Reed and John Cale, Talkhouse is thrilled to welcome Jokermen to its Webby Award-winning podcast network. Focused on telling creator-centric stories from the first-person perspective of musicians, actors, athletes, filmmakers and more, Talkhouse is built on a foundation of conversations rooted in the authenticity, credibility and creativity that is shared by Jokermen hosts Ian Grant and Evan Laffer. Since uniting two years ago, the duo has released nearly two hundred episodes that have obsessively explored the life and times of Bob Dylan, with guests including mutual fans like Tim Heidecker, Steve Gunn, Molly Lambert, Jake Longstreth, Ian F. Svenonius, Pearl Charles and more. Jokermen will now shift its spotlight to deliver a spiritual guide to the storied solo work and artistic rivalry of Reed and Cale, as well as the entire Velvet Underground catalog and extended universe.

Available now, the first two episodes of Jokermen's new series have thus far covered John Cale's 1970 solo debut, Vintage Violence, as well as Lou Reed's Transformer, with commentary from Long Island band and noted Velvet Underground scholars The Lemon Twigs. New installments will be released on a weekly basis until the breadth of the subjects' discographies are fully celebrated, continuing the Jokermen mission to make Boomer rock icons as fun and vital as they were half a century ago, alongside special guests across the worlds of music, art and the internet.
